Pacific Share began with a simple observation: New Zealand sheds, garages, and dive lockers are full of good fishing and diving gear that's no longer used - while Pacific Island communities who depend on the ocean for food and income often can't access or afford the same equipment.
Founder Aaron Poingdestre started Pacific Share to close that gap directly: collect what's sitting idle here, and get it into the hands of the people who will use it every day, out on the water.
Every item Pacific Share moves is a permanent gift to the person or community that receives it. This isn't a rental or resale scheme - gear given is gear kept, so families can fish and dive safely for years to come.
